Description

The company is an in-house team of creatives, producers, data analysts and social experts that builds ideas across formats, from short social posts to TV. The team is set up to react to trends and news as they break, and to create work that goes beyond social media, wins media coverage and gets the country talking.

You will be joining a team that aims high creatively and pushes its own limits, with a strong focus on award-quality work. The company wants people who bring drive to their craft and produce new ideas both inside and beyond the brief.

You will support the creative director in leading a group of creatives who develop culturally relevant campaigns. You will work alongside a second ACD focused on copy, and with a mix of specialists to shape ideas that get attention, earn media and prompt action. The work ranges from fast trend activations to carefully built TV spots.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and carry out campaigns with fresh, culturally relevant ideas that fit client goals.
  • Mentor and motivate junior art directors, copywriters and content creators, and build a collaborative, inventive working environment.
  • Watch cultural and social trends closely and use what you learn to produce timely, high-impact campaigns.
  • Work with producers, strategists, data analysts and social media experts so ideas work across platforms.
  • Present concepts to clients clearly and with conviction, building their trust and enthusiasm.
  • Hold all deliverables to the highest creative standard, from social-first content to integrated campaigns.
  • Push the team toward award-worthy work that raises the bar for the industry.

Requirements

  • 7+ years in a creative role at an agency or in-house team, with a record of high-quality, award-winning work.
  • Proven ability to lead, coach and motivate creative teams.
  • Deep knowledge of social platforms and cultural trends, and the skill to turn them into effective campaigns.
  • A portfolio showing big ideas, sharp insight and polished execution across several media.
  • Ability to tie creative concepts to client objectives and strategy.
  • Confident, persuasive communication with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced setting, able to change direction quickly and meet tight deadlines.
  • A real love of creativity, culture and storytelling.

Conditions

The anticipated annual salary is $120-140K. Actual pay depends on factors such as location, business needs, level of responsibility, experience and qualifications, and the range is one part of the total compensation package.

The company is committed to equal employment opportunity and to hiring the most qualified people regardless of race, national origin, religion, sexual orientation, gender, age or disability.
