Applications Development Senior UI Developer - Assistant Vice President

This is an intermediate role in the Applications Development group, within the Technology job family. You will help set up and put in place new or updated application systems and programs, working alongside the Technology team.

The purpose of the role is to support systems analysis and programming for applications.

Responsibilities

• Carry out feasibility reviews, time and cost estimates, IT planning and technology risk work, and build applications and models that meet specific business or user needs.
• Oversee every stage of development, from analysis and design through build, testing and rollout, and support business and operations users on the applications.
• Apply deep specialist knowledge to untangle complicated problems, judge business and system processes against industry standards, and reach sound conclusions.
• Propose and build security controls, reviewing how the business uses a system after launch to confirm it is designed and works as intended.
• Advise users, clients and other technology groups, suggest advanced programming approaches, and install and support customer-facing systems.
• Make sure core procedures are followed and help write operating standards and processes.
• Mentor newer or junior analysts.
• Work with limited direct supervision, using your own judgment.
• Act as the subject matter expert for senior stakeholders and team members.
• Weigh risk in business decisions with close attention to the firm's reputation and to protecting the company, its clients and its assets. Keep to laws, rules, regulations and policy, use sound ethical judgment, and raise, manage and report control issues openly.
• Take on other duties as needed.

Requirements

• Recommended: 5-8 years of relevant experience with ReactJS and TypeScript.
• Recommended: experience with Java, C, SQL and microservice architecture.
• Recommended: experience analysing systems and programming software applications.
• Recommended: experience managing and delivering projects successfully.
• Recommended: working knowledge of consulting and project management methods.
• Recommended: ability to work under pressure and handle tight deadlines or sudden changes in expectations or requirements.
• Education: a bachelor's degree or university degree, or equivalent experience.

Conditions

Full-time position based in Tampa, Florida, United States.

Primary salary range is $96,960.00 - $145,440.00.
