Applications Development Intermediate Programmer Analyst - UI Developer

Description

This is an intermediate-level programmer analyst role in application development. You will help set up and put in place new or updated application systems and programs, working with the company's Technology team. The role contributes to application systems analysis and programming work.

Responsibilities

• Use your working knowledge of development procedures and concepts, plus basic knowledge of adjacent technical areas, to spot and define needed system improvements, including work with scripting tools and reading and interpreting code.
• Advise users, clients and other technology groups on issues, recommend programming fixes, and install and support systems that customers use directly.
• Apply core programming knowledge when working from design specifications.
• Review applications for vulnerabilities and security gaps, and carry out testing and debugging.
• Coach newer or more junior analysts and act as an advisor to them.
• Pinpoint problems, analyze information and use sound judgment to recommend and carry out solutions.
• Choose fixes based on your technical experience, using earlier precedents as a guide.
• Work with limited direct supervision and use your own judgment.
• Serve as the subject matter expert for senior stakeholders and team members.
• Weigh risk in business decisions, protecting the firm's reputation, its clients and its assets. Follow laws, rules and policy, act ethically, and report control issues openly.

Requirements

• 2-5 years of relevant experience with ReactJS and TypeScript.
• Experience with Java, C, SQL and microservice architecture.
• Prior intermediate-level experience in application development.
• Clear, concise writing and speaking.
• Solid problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Ability to handle pressure, meet deadlines and adapt when expectations or requirements change unexpectedly.
• Bachelor's degree or university degree, or equivalent experience.

Conditions

Full-time position based in Tampa, Florida, United States.

Primary location full-time salary range: $76,560.00 - $106,840.00.
