Responsibilities

  • Turn customer operational needs into system-level technical solutions and specifications.
  • Act as the primary technical contact for defense customers and prime contractors.
  • Manage requirements flow-down, compliance and customer technical reviews.

  • Explain complex technical ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Requirements

  • Hold a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, systems engineering or a closely related technical field from an accredited institution.

  • Have supported military or government programs, including requirements flow-down, compliance and customer technical reviews.
  • Have worked on defense, naval or government-funded programs with direct contact with customers and stakeholders.
  • Know relevant defense standards, qualification processes and configuration control practices.
  • Have strong customer-facing skills.
  • Be a U.S. citizen.
  • Be able to obtain a SECRET security clearance.
  • Be able to travel up to 20% based on business needs.
