Air Power ERP business Project Manager (Temp Agency)

Description

The company is a temporary opening in Getafe, Madrid, within its Air Power business unit, for an ERP business project manager.

The role drives the rollout and improvement of ERP systems in the Air Power division.

The company designs, builds and delivers aerospace and defence products, services and solutions worldwide, and employs around 130,000 people.

Responsibilities

• Manage ERP projects in the Air Power division from a business standpoint, from concept through to implementation, covering schedule, budget and resources.
• Work with colleagues in Digital, Engineering, Production and Procurement to gather business requirements and turn them into technical solutions.
• Review current business processes and find where ERP systems can improve them.
• Manage external service providers and system integrators.
• Carry out risk analyses and define how to reduce those risks.
• Track project progress, report to management and make sure quality standards are met.
• Plan and deliver end-user training.
• Make sure internal policies and external regulations are followed.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in business administration, computer science, engineering or a comparable field.
• A track record in project management, ideally on ERP implementations or optimisations in aerospace or defence.
• Deep knowledge of common ERP systems such as SAP S/4HANA and their modules.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in Spanish and English, at business fluency and negotiation level.
• Ability to work well in a complex, fast-changing environment.
• Advantage: a project management certification such as PMP or PRINCE2.
