AI Solution Engineer

Description

The company is a global infrastructure consulting firm, and this is a full-time, on-site role based in Zug, Switzerland.

You will design, build and roll out AI-powered solutions for infrastructure and engineering projects, working with project teams and stakeholders to turn their needs into scalable technical architectures.

The role sits within a team of over 50,000 planners, designers, engineers, scientists and digital innovators.

Responsibilities

• Build and integrate AI models and software components.
• Prepare technical demos and proofs of concept.
• Work with consulting and presales teams to shape solution proposals.
• Take part in solution workshops and explain AI capabilities to clients in plain business terms.
• Make sure AI tools fit into existing workflows and systems.
• Monitor solution performance and troubleshoot issues.
• Help improve solutions and contribute to documentation and best practices for AI adoption across the organisation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering, data science or a related technical field.
• Strong software development skills, including AI/ML frameworks, APIs and modern programming languages.
• Consulting or presales experience: gathering requirements, designing solution architectures and explaining technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Sales and client engagement skills to support proposals, demos and presentations tailored to client needs.
• Experience connecting AI solutions with enterprise systems, data platforms and engineering tools.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking and attention to detail, with a focus on reliability and scalability.
• Ability to work across disciplines, manage several priorities and communicate clearly in English.
• Experience delivering AI or data-driven solutions in infrastructure, engineering or related industries is an advantage.
• Additional languages are a plus.
