AI Developer Intern

Description

The company builds security products centered on digital identity and serves customers in more than 150 countries from its headquarters in Minnesota.

This is an internship on the AI Developer team. You will work hands-on with current AI technology on real projects that have a visible impact.

You will work alongside experienced engineers and be encouraged to build, test and solve problems with new ideas.

Responsibilities

• Talk with business stakeholders to find where AI-based solutions could help.
• Build, release and improve AI applications through scripts and code.
• Write backend scripts using GraphQL to power data-driven features.
• Write and maintain code that speeds up development and simplifies testing.
• Design AI workflows that use single-agent and multi-agent setups.
• Record your development work in detail so the team can follow and continue it.
• Build automated test frameworks based on agent vision modules to make systems more reliable.
• Create evaluation processes that keep results consistent and meet production standards.
• Work with the Solution and UX Architect to create smart, easy-to-use experiences.

Requirements

• You are detail-oriented, meet deadlines and can work independently.
• You understand the main AI frameworks and can apply them to business problems.
• You communicate clearly in writing and speaking.
• You work well in a team.
• You are a junior or senior by December 2025.
• You have a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• You are working toward a BS or MS in Computer Engineering, Data Science or a related field.
• You have experience with frameworks such as Vue.js, React and Node.js.
• You understand how LLMs work, including prompt engineering, context engineering and fine tuning.
• Preferred: you have finished at least one front-end project using Vue.js or React and can share a demo of it.
• Preferred: you have finished at least one smart application project and can share a demo of it.
• Preferred: you have some familiarity with cloud DevOps, MLOps or AIOps.

Conditions

The role is hybrid: three days a week in the office at the headquarters in Shakopee, MN, or fully remote from Germany, as stated in the job description.

The team is spread across locations.

The pay range is $23 to $26 per hour in the primary posting location.

Final pay depends on location, education, skills and experience.
