Description

The company is a global healthcare communications and marketing agency offering a full range of services to clients, including leading pharmaceutical and biotech companies.

The team is a full-service healthcare advertising agency, part of a larger group, that believes healthcare should feel more human. It combines scientific depth, creative work and AI-driven insight.

The company is hiring a Medical Copywriter to join a growing team.

This is not a traditional medical writing role. It suits someone with healthcare advertising experience who can develop concepts and write across promotional and scientific material.

The work sits where medical rigour meets brand storytelling, turning complex science into copy that is strategically grounded and emotionally intelligent.

The agency environment has fast deadlines, high standards and close teamwork.

The company is Great Place to Work certified and welcomes both experienced professionals and people starting their careers who care about healthcare and connection.

Responsibilities

  • Write healthcare and pharma advertising copy for HCP, patient, caregiver and DTC audiences.
  • Turn clinical data, mechanisms of action and product information into clear, engaging, on-brand messaging.
  • Write copy for websites, digital banners, emails, sales materials, patient education, videos, social posts and other omnichannel assets.
  • Develop integrated campaign concepts and executions with an Art Director and the wider creative team.
  • Make sure all copy fits the brand strategy, marketing objectives, tone of voice and audience needs.
  • Work with medical and scientific leaders to keep content accurate, balanced and compliant.
  • Take part in strategic planning, internal brainstorms and client meetings when needed.
  • Present concepts internally and respond to feedback quickly and constructively.
  • Review copy at every stage for clarity, grammar, consistency and accuracy.
  • Work with Editorial to resolve style and grammar questions.
  • Build a working knowledge of assigned brands, disease states, competitors and market changes.
  • Spot medical, competitive or regulatory developments that could affect messaging or tactics.
  • Bring a solutions-focused approach and help raise the quality of the work.

Requirements

  • Have 2, 4+ years of experience in healthcare or pharma advertising, medical communications or a closely related agency setting.
  • Have written within regulated categories, ideally on HCP and/or DTC promotional work.
  • Bring a strong portfolio showing conceptual thinking, copywriting craft and brand voice development.
  • Balance creative ideas with scientific accuracy.
  • Partner well with Creative, Account, Project Management, Editorial and Medical teams.
  • Communicate and present clearly, both verbally and in person.
  • Pay close attention to detail and manage several assignments in a fast-moving setting.
  • Be proficient in Microsoft Office and common research tools and platforms.
  • Have knowledge of, or a strong interest in, science, medicine and healthcare marketing.
  • Have worked across multiple products or disease states.
  • Be familiar with MLR and regulatory review processes.
  • Contribute to both promotional initiatives and scientific communications.
  • Be curious about healthcare innovation, audience behaviour and emerging creative formats.
  • Adjust your scope and priorities comfortably as the business changes.
  • Be proactive, resourceful and organised about priorities, and use data to inform decisions.
  • Be energised by AI, explore new tools and support practical, responsible adoption.
  • Identify with the company's values of teamwork, impact, excellence, continuous evolution and personal accountability.

Conditions

Pay is set on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience, skills, qualifications, location and internal parity, and the company may change pay and benefits at any time.
