ZT STS Software Engineer-TS/SCI with Poly

Description

This full-time Software Engineer role supports the Zero Trust Identity, Credential, and Access Management (ZT ICAM) program, which deploys solutions for Department of Defense customers.

You will work under senior engineering staff on an integrated enterprise solution used across varied customer environments.

The ideal candidate has foundational DevOps knowledge and hands-on Kubernetes exposure, and wants to build these skills further.

The position requires no travel.

Responsibilities

• Help develop mission-critical web services for an ICAM solution.
• Support AWS cloud-native software design, development, integration, and testing.
• Maintain highly available, enterprise-level services in operation.
• Take part in automated build, test, packaging, deployment, monitoring, and release work.
• Support Linux and containerized environments, keep deployment configurations consistent, and help maintain technical documentation.

Requirements

• Hold an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
• Hold a bachelor's degree or higher in computer engineering or a related field such as computer science.
• Have 5+ years of software engineering experience and 2+ years of work experience in the SIGINT, IA, or IT domains.
• Four years of software engineering experience can replace the bachelor's degree, for a total of 9 years.
• Desired: AWS native development with Lambda, DynamoDB, and S3, plus IAM roles, permissions, and SCPs.
• Desired: Strong Java and JavaScript software development skills.
• Desired: Experience with Terraform and/or infrastructure-as-code.
• Desired: Familiarity with Linux environments.
• Desired: Ability to build robust, scalable, secure, high-performance applications.
• Desired: Unit test writing with JUnit or Mock testing frameworks.
• Desired: Automated builds using GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
• Desired: PKI encryption and authentication experience.
• Desired: Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.

Conditions

The proposed salary range is $94,400 - $198,200.

Final salary depends on factors including location, Federal Government contract labor categories and wage rates, relevant prior experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.

This is a regular, full-time position.
