Windows Engineer (End-user computing)

Description

The company is hiring a Windows Engineer for its End-user computing (EUC) team in Katowice, Poland, which supports and develops the platform that keeps device environments secure, compliant, stable and easy to use.

The role covers several customers and handles full lifecycle management of modern workplace devices across a hybrid setup of Windows, macOS, iOS and Android. The ideal candidate has strong experience with Jamf Pro (preferred) and Microsoft Intune, good working knowledge of SCCM, and is comfortable in complex enterprise environments.

Only candidates living in the Silesian area who are willing to commute to the Katowice office can be considered.

The Polish branch is the company's Global Delivery Center. It has operated in Katowice since 2007 and employs around 1,000 specialists. The Digital Platform Services department covers cloud, operating systems, virtualization, databases, backup, storage, networking and security.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full lifecycle of devices on Windows, macOS, iOS and Android.
• Administer Jamf, Intune and SCCM and keep improving them.
• Handle advanced 2nd and 3rd line troubleshooting and resolve incidents.
• Manage applications from packaging and deployment through updates to retirement.
• Drive automation and ongoing improvement work.
• Work with several customer teams and technical disciplines.
• Share knowledge and help raise the skills of the wider EUC team.
• Support day-to-day operations as well as larger modernization projects.
• Work with the project tech stack: Windows, SCCM, Jamf, Intune and AVD/VDI.

Requirements

• At least 3+ years of hands-on experience in a similar role.
• Strong hands-on Jamf Pro administration and macOS device management (preferred).
• Strong experience with Microsoft Intune and modern endpoint management tools.
• Good SCCM administration skills, including software distribution and deployment.
• Proven record managing Windows, macOS, iOS and Android devices in enterprise settings.
• Experience packaging, deploying and managing the lifecycle of applications.
• Background in large-scale enterprise environments.
• Ability to manage varied endpoint ecosystems while keeping security, compliance and operational efficiency in view.
• Willingness to work hybrid and be in the Katowice office at least 2-3 days per week.
• Soft skills: you share knowledge and help the team grow, think in systems and look for patterns and root causes, make sound decisions based on standards in ways that scale, and work independently under pressure, staying calm in unclear situations.
• Recommended but not required certifications: MD-102 Endpoint Administrator Associate, SC-900 Microsoft Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals, MS-102 Microsoft 365 Administrator Associate, ITIL 4 Foundation, Windows Client (MD-102 focus), Certified Application Packaging Specialist (CAPS), and Jamf 100, 200, 300 and 400.
