The Crypto Perpetuals team builds the advanced trading experience for customers who want fast, intuitive access to crypto derivatives markets.

The team's mobile tools let traders follow price movements, read market depth, manage risk, and place trades in fast-moving markets.

Responsibilities

• Design and build fast mobile experiences that handle real-time data, complex trading flows, and reliable execution.
• Design and implement a scalable iOS architecture for advanced crypto trading features used by the company's most active investors.
• Work with product, design, and backend engineers to build intuitive, professional-grade trading tools for mobile.
• Improve performance, real-time data handling, observability, and release stability across core crypto trading workflows.
• Lead technical planning and guide system design reviews, implementation discussions, and incident response for high-stakes trading features.
• Mentor iOS engineers through code reviews, technical feedback, and structured support, and contribute to engineering standards and documentation.

Requirements

• At least 6 years of professional experience developing iOS applications.
• Extensive experience building and maintaining large iOS applications in Swift and modern iOS frameworks.
• Experience designing mobile systems with clear architecture, modular components, and maintainable testing, especially for data-intensive or real-time products.
• Ability to work with product, design, backend, and infrastructure partners to deliver customer-focused technical solutions.
• Experience leading technical initiatives across several teams while balancing near-term delivery with long-term platform health.
• Clear communication, with the ability to turn complex trading concepts into intuitive mobile experiences.
• Preferred: experience with financial platforms, trading systems, or real-time market data products.

Conditions

Based in the Toronto, ON office, with in-person attendance expected at least 3 days per week.

The base pay range for Toronto, ON is $166,000 - $195,000 CAD.

Base pay depends on factors such as education, training, experience, location, business needs, and market demands, and the range reflects the work location.
