Description

This role runs the advisor recruiting program and related programs, managing several teams while carrying out recruiting tactics that support company goals. The core work is moving Senior Wealth Advisor candidates through every stage of the Wealth Group Executive hiring pipeline.

You give dedicated support to every Regional Director and Wealth Group Executive across the national Citigold and Citigold Private Client network, building recruiting plans suited to each prospective candidate.

You find faults at any stage of the hiring process, escalate them to the right stakeholders and see them fixed. Once a candidate converts, you promote the new hire within the existing pipeline and across the wider company through several communication channels.

You track changes in your field and apply them to the role and the business. You are the go-to expert on recruiting and bring strong commercial judgment. Few people in the business have this level of expertise, and your opinion is trusted both inside and outside the function.

You negotiate internally, often with senior leaders, and communicate externally at times. You use advanced judgment and in-depth quantitative or qualitative analysis to solve problems, and you look past existing methods and assumptions to design new approaches. Your decisions on technical approaches and strategy shape the function and the business.

The role reports to the Head of National Sales Administration and Advisor Recruiting. It sits within the Program Management job family in Project and Program Management.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, direct and coordinate the daily running of the advisor recruiting program and its related programs, acting as the main contact for Regional Directors and Wealth Group Executives on advisor hiring.

  • Work with program sponsors to confirm that business cases and cost-benefit analyses match business goals.
  • Study the recruiting funnel, find bottlenecks and put fixes in place.
  • Share status, issues and risks with all stakeholders, including senior management, in a timely way to improve advisor hiring.
  • Identify risks that could affect program delivery and build and carry out mitigation plans when needed.
  • Work with legal and compliance teams on due diligence, making sure all regulatory and risk requirements are met.
  • Manage director-level, senior program manager-level and other staff through matrix reporting, as needed.
  • Chair a monthly recruiting forum with legal, compliance and risk and control stakeholders to review pipeline progress, market trends and best practices.
  • Update the Advisor Recruiting Playbook to keep the hiring process structured and effective.
  • Coach Regional Directors and Wealth Group Executives on attracting and converting top advisor talent.
  • Run regular training on market trends, competitor intelligence and recruiting strategy.
  • Assess risk whenever business decisions are made, protecting the firm's reputation and its clients and assets. Drive compliance with laws, rules, regulations and policy, use sound ethical judgment, and escalate and report control issues openly.
