Vision systems project engineer

Description

The vision systems team needs an engineer to help introduce new processes and improve existing ones for automatic inspection of sterile injectable medicines, documented through technical files that meet current rules such as GMP, FDA and EMA requirements.

The role is office based and uses flexible 12 hour shifts.

Responsibilities

• Write technical and validation documents for automatic inspection systems that need validation, setting out the strategy for system setup and qualification in line with company procedures and guidance.
• Build inspection recipes for new products and improve recipes already used for commercial products.
• Give technical advice and help troubleshoot so day-to-day operations run smoothly.
• Join project teams to discuss the technical side of new product introductions that will be submitted to regulators.

Requirements

• An engineering degree or a related science degree, or equivalent solid experience.
• Experience in pharmaceutical companies or in validation is an advantage.
• Experience with automated inspection systems such as Körber, Optrel, Innoscan or SEA Vision is an advantage.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Working knowledge of the company's IT systems (Trackwise, Minitab) and Microsoft Office.
• Strong interpersonal skills, a proactive approach and the ability to work well in a team.

Conditions

Flexible 12 hour shifts, working days.

Office based.
