Visa is seeking an experienced, strategic, and enterprise-minded Vice President to lead Consumer Product & Growth Marketing within the Global Brand organization.

This leader will build and operate Visa's global consumer product and growth marketing engine, translating business and product priorities into differentiated brand, marketing, and go-to-market strategies that accelerate profitable growth across Affluent and Visa Infinite, Cross-Border Travel, and Digital Products & Innovation.

The role serves as the primary connection point between Visa's business priorities, product strategy, consumer needs, and marketing execution. Working across Global Product, Global Cross-Border, Global Brand, Regional Marketing, and specialist marketing functions, the Vice President will ensure Visa's products, platforms, experiences, and innovations are translated into compelling consumer propositions, scalable growth platforms, and measurable business outcomes.

As the senior marketing partner for Global Product and Global Cross-Border, this leader will define portfolio strategies, audience priorities, growth opportunities, innovation roadmaps, commercialization plans, and measurement frameworks that strengthen consumer preference, increase adoption and usage, and create long-term enterprise value.

The role oversees marketing strategy across Visa Infinite and Affluent, Cross-Border Travel and Visa Destinations, and Digital Products & Innovation, including ecommerce, digital wallets, emerging commerce experiences, and future consumer payment innovations.

This leader will act as the business-facing marketing owner for the portfolio, orchestrating the capabilities of Brand Management, Creative & Social Studio, Integrated Marketing, Sponsorship Activation, B2B Marketing, Marketing Services, Insights & Analytics, and Regional Marketing around shared priorities, investment choices, growth objectives, and performance outcomes.

Success requires a leader who can operate simultaneously as an enterprise strategist, growth architect, organizational integrator, and talent builder. The ideal candidate combines expertise in brand marketing, product marketing, and growth strategy with strong commercial judgment and a proven ability to drive transformation across complex global organizations.

The position reports to the Senior Vice President, Global Brand, with dotted-line accountability to senior leaders in Global Product and Global Cross-Border & Sales Operations.

Responsibilities

  • Strategy & Business Leadership
  • Define and lead the global Consumer Product & Growth Marketing vision, strategy, and priorities across Affluent and Visa Infinite, Cross-Border Travel, and Digital Products & Innovation.
  • Translate business, product, customer, and market priorities into differentiated growth strategies, consumer propositions, and measurable business outcomes.
  • Advise executive leadership on emerging consumer, competitive, technological, and market trends shaping Visa's growth agenda.
  • Prioritize portfolio investments and resources to maximize consumer relevance, business impact, and long-term growth.
  • Influence enterprise investment decisions across capabilities, partnerships, experiences, data, and technology required to deliver profitable growth.
  • Portfolio & Growth Leadership
  • Lead growth strategies across Affluent and Visa Infinite, Cross-Border Travel and Visa Destinations, and Digital Products & Innovation.
  • Develop differentiated consumer propositions, experiences, and growth platforms that increase preference, adoption, engagement, and usage.
  • Drive commercialization strategies that connect product innovation, consumer value, client enablement, and market activation.
  • Identify and scale new growth opportunities across emerging technologies, partnerships, business models, and consumer experiences.
  • Ensure major investments are anchored in clear strategic objectives, accountability, measurement, and business outcomes.
  • Enterprise Integration & Go-to-Market Leadership
  • Serve as the primary marketing partner to Global Product and Global Cross-Border, translating business priorities into integrated growth strategies.
  • Act as the central integrator across Global Brand, specialist marketing functions, and Regional Marketing to drive alignment, speed, and execution quality.
  • Establish governance, decision rights, and operating rhythms that improve accountability and execution across the portfolio.
  • Lead positioning, consumer narratives, commercialization frameworks, and go-to-market strategies across products, experiences, sponsorships, and client enablement.
  • Connect consumer, issuer, merchant, partner, platform, and B2B efforts into an integrated B2B2C growth system.
  • Ensure strategies, launches, platforms, and playbooks are designed for scalable regional activation and consistent execution globally.
  • Performance, Investment & Partnership Leadership
  • Define performance frameworks that connect marketing investments to consumer behavior, business outcomes, and financial results.
  • Establish measurement systems, learning agendas, and optimization processes that continuously improve growth performance.
  • Oversee portfolio budgets and influence enterprise investment decisions to maximize strategic and commercial impact.
  • Build strategic partnerships that strengthen Visa's consumer relevance, market leadership, and growth opportunities.
  • Communicate performance, opportunities, risks, and recommendations to executive stakeholders.
  • Organizational Leadership
  • Build and lead a high-performing global Consumer Product & Growth Marketing organization.
  • Set clear priorities, accountabilities, and operating rhythms that enable effective execution at scale.
  • Develop talent, strengthen succession readiness, and build future organizational capability.
  • Foster a culture of customer obsession, innovation, collaboration, accountability, and execution excellence.
  • Leverage AI, data, technology, and modern marketing practices to improve effectiveness and business impact.
  • Visa requires at least 3 days in office, expectations of these days will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

Requirements

  • Basic Qualifications
  • 12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or at least 10 years of experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters/MBA/JD/MD) or at least 8 years of work experience with a PhD.
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • 15 or more years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD, PhD).
  • 15 or more years of progressive leadership experience across global brand marketing, product marketing, growth marketing, commercial strategy, or related disciplines.
  • Proven success leading large-scale growth agendas that connect brand preference, product adoption, client enablement, and commercial outcomes.
  • Deep expertise in payments, financial services, technology, ecommerce, travel, hospitality, premium brands, platform businesses, or adjacent industries.
  • Experience translating business and product strategy into differentiated propositions, growth platforms, go-to-market strategies, and measurable growth programs.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence senior executives and align diverse stakeholders across large matrixed global organizations.
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen, including business case development, investment prioritization, portfolio management, and resource allocation.
  • Experience building and leading high-performing global teams while driving organizational change and operational excellence.
  • Expertise across core marketing disciplines, including brand strategy, product marketing, integrated marketing, customer insight, partnerships, sponsorships, digital platforms, and performance measurement.
  • Experience leveraging data, technology, AI, experimentation, and personalization to drive growth outcomes and marketing effectiveness.
  • Exceptional communication, executive presence, and storytelling capabilities, with the ability to simplify complex business and technical concepts for senior audiences.

  • For roles located in the US, the estimated salary range for this position is $260,000.00 to $ 455,000.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program.
