The team helps business users across the firm use company technology to reach their goals, through three programs: Tools, which includes Excel add-ins and Python packages that business staff use to build their own solutions; Guidance, which covers how-to articles and techniques that steer people toward approved golden paths; and Applications, which are small to medium-sized programs used in daily work.

Responsibilities

• Maintain mostly legacy code, with some new greenfield development.
• Take small projects through to completion.
• Work directly with business users, and at times collaborate with them to improve their software.
• Provide production support.

Requirements

• A genuine interest in learning how proprietary trading works.
• The ability to gather requirements from key stakeholders and turn them into technical solutions.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Fluency in Python, C, or both.
• Comfort working with AI coding assistants such as Claude Code to speed up development.
• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering, or equivalent.
• 6+ years of software engineering experience.

Conditions

Production support includes one weekend per month on call.
