Description

The company builds autonomous defence platforms and AI-driven software for NATO Allies and their partners, designed to work in demanding environments.

Its teams combine engineering talent with agile technology to deliver field-tested solutions across several domains.

In this role you fly the standard production acceptance profile on each newly built unit in the company's flight cages and test zones, checking handling, sensor feeds and failsafes before the customer signs off. You confirm that every serial-numbered aircraft is airworthy and ready to deploy.

Responsibilities

  • Run the standard end-of-line flight acceptance test cards on every newly manufactured aircraft in the flight cages and test zones.
  • Check hover trim stability, sensor fusion health, gimbal video quality and the automatic return-to-base failsafe.
  • Carry out pre-flight and post-flight inspections, check battery telemetry, log motor temperatures and perform compass calibrations.
  • Record flight telemetry, complete the acceptance paperwork and sign off unit airworthiness certificates for delivery.
  • Send handling problems, trim offsets and assembly defects back to production technicians and quality engineers.
  • Follow pre-flight checklists and range safety rules at all times.

Requirements

  • Proven experience flying commercial or tactical multirotor or VTOL UAS, with 100+ flight hours.
  • Relevant UAS pilot certification such as EU A1/A3 or A2 Remote Pilot Certificate. STS or Specific Category authorization is an asset.
  • Experience with ground control station software such as QGroundControl or Mission Planner.
  • Solid grasp of UAS aerodynamics, battery health, meteorology and weather limits.
  • Ability to carry out basic field calibrations, compass offsets and propeller balancing.
  • Working proficiency in English and NATO citizenship.

Conditions

You must be able to obtain and keep the security clearance this role requires, because of the defence nature of the work. Details are shared during recruitment.

Benefits

  • The software and systems you help build protect personnel and support European and national sovereignty.
  • You work with leading specialists in autonomous systems, advanced propulsion and secure cyber platforms.
  • The team works collaboratively at a quick pace, and bold ideas receive serious R&D support.
