Training, guidance from experienced engineers and regular one-to-one meetings with your manager support your goals and development. You will work in an open-plan office with a friendly team.

Responsibilities

  • Rotate through compute hardware support, storage hardware support and software support, including HPE Morpheus, VME, Linux and Ubuntu.

  • Examine technical configurations to find faults and help build resolution and recovery plans.
  • Build practical knowledge of hardware and software support while working alongside experienced engineers.
  • Develop a structured approach to troubleshooting and problem solving.
  • See how support teams work together across technology areas to resolve complex customer issues.
  • Suggest improvements to technical processes and ways of working.
  • Work with other interns on a joint project that tackles a practical technical or business challenge, then present the outcomes and share what you learned with your peers.

Requirements

  • Be currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering, computer science or another IT-related field.
  • Speak and write English fluently.
  • Solve problems analytically and troubleshoot effectively.
  • Manage your time well and meet strict deadlines.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively by phone, orally and in writing, with a strong customer focus.
  • Be driven to look for what comes next and to deliver excellent results.
  • Work collaboratively, with a solution-focused mindset and a sense of urgency.
  • Be open to new ideas and fresh thinking, and actively seek views that differ from your own.
  • Have experience as an active campus leader who aims to make a positive difference.
  • Be comfortable working in a hybrid setting, both virtually and in person.

Conditions

Expect extensive onboarding to help you settle into the role, followed by ongoing learning and development across the program.

Work in a hybrid arrangement, with an average of 2 days per week in the office.
