Responsibilities

• Build and maintain solid working knowledge of the full product line.
• Demonstrate the products and help the sales team with technical evaluations.
• Answer technical questions from customers and prospects at every stage of the sales process.
• Help produce technical content and supporting materials for customer-facing and marketing work.
• Collect customer input and pass product improvement ideas to the development team.
• Track industry developments, product releases and relevant engineering technology.
• Work with colleagues across teams to keep the customer experience strong.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with engineering software such as CAD, PDM, PLM, CAM or FEA.
• Experience giving product demonstrations or technical support to customers.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to explain technical ideas to different audiences.
• Fluent English with strong verbal and written communication. Knowledge of other European languages is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a closely related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 1-4 years in engineering, application engineering, technical pre-sales or engineering software roles.
• Comfortable working as part of a team in a quick-moving environment.

You will join the Technical Services team and work with sales to win new customers and grow existing accounts alongside the Customer Success team.

Strong communication skills and experience supporting sales through demonstrations and technical discussions are key. Understanding of CAD, PDM, PLM, CAM and FEA is important.
