Description

The company runs a SaaS service delivery platform that is open and independent of hardware, used by smart homes, small businesses and enterprises. It uses WiFi, AI and machine learning to power connected spaces at scale.

The platform serves more than 60 million locations worldwide and has managed over 3 billion devices. It is growing quickly, opening a new product category, and reached Series F funding within four years.

More than 400 ISPs are customers, including some of the largest in the world, and they use the platform to update their smart home offerings and learn from their own data. Open-source, silicon-to-cloud software sits at the core of the network.

The role sits in the SRE organization and covers infrastructure, data platforms, observability and CI/CD. You will connect engineering teams so the right work gets built, shipped and measured.

You will need to bring clarity to unclear situations, raise blockers early, and help teams speed up without sacrificing quality. The role is not for someone who prefers to stay out of the spotlight.

Responsibilities

  • Own planning, tracking and delivery of programs across the SRE team, working with the Director of SRE and regional SRE managers.
  • Build and maintain program roadmaps, milestones, dependencies and success metrics.
  • Lead standups, reviews and retrospectives that keep work moving.
  • Spot risks early and put mitigation plans in place before they become escalations.
  • Manage the roadmaps for global infrastructure, the data platform and the observability stack.
  • With SRE team leads, plan, estimate, prioritize and execute work in each of these areas.
  • Align quarterly plans and priorities with the other TPMs, and gather feedback from peers and other engineering groups to improve how work runs.
  • Track and speed up CI/CD initiatives that improve pipelines, release velocity and deployment reliability with engineering teams.
  • Promote automation across the software development lifecycle, from testing and builds to monitoring and incident response.
  • Measure and report on pipeline health, lead time and deployment frequency.
  • Coordinate across engineering, product, SRE and leadership, building strong working relationships across time zones and disciplines without becoming a bottleneck.
  • Give clear, confident status updates to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Encourage accountability, transparency and continuous improvement across the team.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of technical program management experience, including complex cross-functional programs.
  • Deep Jira skills: project configuration, custom workflows, dashboards and advanced JQL.
  • Use Jira data such as velocity trends, cycle time and sprint burndown to guide decisions and catch risks like scope creep early.
  • Experience running Agile delivery for technical programs, including sprint planning (capacity, backlog refinement and story estimation), standups, sprint reviews and retrospectives that produce measurable gains in infrastructure, data platforms, observability and CI/CD.
  • Excellent written and spoken English, with the ability to tailor messages for senior executives and for staff engineers.
  • Strong project management skills: structure, attention to detail and delivery within set timelines.
  • Bonus points if you have:
  • Experience in SaaS, networking or connected devices.
  • Familiarity with agile and scaled agile frameworks.
  • Experience working across globally distributed teams.
  • A solid grasp of CI/CD, SRE practices and the software development lifecycle.
  • Hands-on experience managing SRE initiatives in past roles.
