Technical Program Manager

The company has moved from storage hardware to a data platform. It closed fiscal 2026 with $3.7 billion in revenue, including its first quarter above $1 billion, and expects growth to continue into FY27.

Its customers include hyperscalers, AI labs, AI hardware suppliers, data platform providers and others across the AI ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Act as the operational lead for complex software releases, hardware co-design and AI-driven automation across the enterprise storage line.
• Work with global Engineering, Product Management, Security and Supply Chain leaders to line up cross-team dependencies, oversee CapEx spending and run Product Lifecycle (PLC) gate reviews aimed at zero-downtime reliability.
• Use applied AI and program analytics in development workflows to speed up releases and keep platform performance and quality high.
• Manage concurrent software release schedules and branch health metrics, using AI tools to track dependencies and forecast risk.
• Align Engineering (Firmware, OS, Applied AI), Product Management, Security and Field teams to clear architectural blockers and hit milestones on time with no customer downtime.
• Run bug scrubs, triage critical technical risks, manage Git-based merge payloads and lead high-stakes trade-offs between release speed and platform stability.
• Plan, track and allocate program CapEx so engineering spend stays within budget across monthly, quarterly and annual reviews.
• Define and track program indicators for schedule, quality, risk, dependencies, readiness, cost and overall health, and use analytics and AI tools to spot trends and drive corrective action.

Requirements

• Deep experience running complex software release cycles, New Product Introduction (NPI) and OS stacks.
• Proven use of AI workflows, predictive models or automated program management tools for release management, dependency tracking and risk assessment.
• Strong analytical skills to set release branch health metrics, manage cross-team dependencies and use data to enforce strict architectural standards.
• Experience driving accountability across global engineering teams without direct authority, plus hands-on management of CapEx budgets and product cost controls.

Conditions

The role is primarily in-office, based at the Santa Clara, CA office and following company policies, except for PTO, work travel or other approved leave.

Salary ranges depend on role, level and location. For roles open in several locations, the range reflects the labor market across those locations.

The annual base salary range is $170,000 - $250,000 USD.

This role may be eligible for incentive pay and/or equity.
