The company, which began in 1960 as a single store in Ypsilanti, MI, is now a technology-led brand. It is consistently among the top five companies for online transactions, and 65% of its U.S. sales come through digital channels.

This role is a full-cycle recruiting position for the company's supply chain centers. You will hire for high-volume hourly, skilled, driver and leadership roles and shape how candidates experience the process. You will work closely with center leaders, hiring managers and candidates.
Responsibilities
Run full-cycle recruiting for high-volume hourly, skilled, driver and leadership roles at your assigned supply chain centers, from sourcing and screening through interviews, selection, offer negotiation, closing and building a pipeline.
Find commercial drivers (CDL-A) and other hard-to-fill candidates through original sourcing, local community outreach, schools and driver-training partners, and persuasive closing conversations.
Base your hiring on actual staffing need by location and role family rather than open requisition counts. Keep requisitions accurate and flagged correctly, and close them when they are no longer needed.
Maintain the applicant tracking system for your roles, reviewing every applicant promptly, recording accurate dispositions and keeping data clean.
Use external channels such as job boards, schools, associations and approved agencies within agreed guidelines. Agencies are an approved exception.
Give candidates timely feedback. Handle offers, background checks, DOT or medical clearance and the onboarding handoff so candidates start on schedule.
Make sure recruiting follows company policy and federal, state and local employment law.
Work to hit recruiting targets: time to fill, center staffing coverage, applicant response time, new-hire retention, candidate and hiring-team satisfaction, and diversity.
Advise center leaders and hiring managers as a consultant. Coach them on interviewing, selection and onboarding, and train them on the process and tools.
Build strong working relationships with center leadership and define who owns each step of the hiring process.
Protect new-hire retention by setting realistic expectations before the hire and supporting the first week of onboarding.
Track your own recruiting metrics, share what they show with TA leadership and center leaders, and act on the findings.
Join special projects such as employee value proposition work, HR technology upgrades, and automation and AI in the recruiting funnel. Test new tools and give field feedback.
Follow TA standards and playbooks, meet the TA scorecard and KPIs, and keep dispositions, reason codes and requisition data complete and current so reports can be trusted.
