Description

The company works across manufacturing, engineering, cybersecurity and space.

The Air Mobility Solutions team builds and deploys air management systems that keep aircraft moving safely.

Its products cover 40% of the world's airspace and support the safe take-off and landing of 2 in 3 aircraft globally.

The work involves complex air traffic management systems, including drone technology, with room to grow into technical or team-leading roles.

Responsibilities

  • Work in a SAFe Agile setting with multidisciplinary teams to help develop the Civil Military Air Traffic Management System (CMATS).
  • Work on TopSKY ONE, the core air traffic management subsystem of the OneSKY program, serving commercial and defense customers.
  • Lead technical working groups, run specification reviews and support software development, integration and validation teams.
  • Define system solutions that balance requirements, cost, schedule and risk to meet customer needs.
  • Record solutions in Engineering Change Proposals (ECP) and Engineering Change Requests (ECR).
  • Help shape validation strategies and take part in technical reviews such as SOR, SFR, FIRR and SwRR.
  • Identify functional and architectural risks, plan how to reduce them, and ensure safety, security and human factors standards are met.

Requirements

  • From day one, you should bring the skills, experience and behaviours listed below.
  • Hold a Bachelor's degree (BEng or equivalent) in engineering, IT or a related field.
  • Postgraduate study in Systems Engineering is desirable.
  • Have 7+ years in systems engineering, covering requirements management, design, integration, and validation or verification in iterative or agile environments.
  • Be familiar with ISO/IEC15288 and SAFe Agile. Tools such as Jira and DOORS are desirable.
  • Communicate well in writing and speaking, engage stakeholders, and lead multidisciplinary, multicultural teams.
  • Solve problems proactively, act decisively, take ownership, and keep improving while supporting diversity.
