A global service network and distribution centers help the team deliver the right solution on schedule.

You are the main daily contact for external suppliers working on site, mostly in laboratories. You stay with them from arrival to departure, prepare the required paperwork and approvals, guide them safely around the site, and make sure their work is safe and compliant.

You also work alongside senior engineers on simple repairs and planned maintenance while building your own skills.

Responsibilities

• Help internal colleagues plan and coordinate supplier visits.
• Prepare visit paperwork, such as access requests, safety briefings and basic risk information.
• Greet suppliers, register them, and walk them through site and lab rules.
• Accompany suppliers all day to laboratories and technical areas, and act as their main contact.
• Check that suppliers follow lab, site and IT/security rules and wear PPE correctly.
• Liaise with lab staff to limit disruption to ongoing work.
• Help suppliers lift and move equipment within local health and safety limits.
• Record visits, incidents and deviations in the relevant systems.
• Suggest improvements to how supplier visits and lab oversight are run.
• Follow company safety, environmental and quality standards, including GxP/GMP where they apply.
• Support senior engineers in daily technical work and learn on the job.
• Carry out simple repairs, basic troubleshooting and planned maintenance following instructions.
• Duties may be assigned or reassigned by management at any time.

Requirements

• Organise the day's visits and tasks, and adapt quickly when plans change.
• Keep a strong focus on safety, compliance and risk awareness in labs and IT/security settings.
• Communicate clearly, and give instructions and safety briefings with confidence.
• Have a basic technical understanding and a hands-on approach to simple repairs, maintenance and physical tasks.
• Collaborate with many groups, including suppliers, lab staff, engineers, EHS, security and IT.
• Stay service-minded and professional with internal and external partners.
• Be willing to learn, build new skills and take on more responsibility over time.
• Hold secondary education (high school or equivalent).
• Have experience in a laboratory, technical, facility, production or similar regulated environment.
• Have basic experience with administrative tasks and documentation.
• Have basic computer skills and experience with standard IT systems.
• Have good verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Preferred: post-secondary education in a relevant field such as engineering, laboratory science or technical maintenance.
• Preferred: experience working with external suppliers, contractors or service partners.
• Preferred: experience with simple technical maintenance or repair work.
• Preferred: experience in a GxP/GMP or other regulated environment.
• Preferred: familiarity with risk assessments, safety routines and work permits.
• Preferred: good verbal and written communication skills in Swedish.
