Responsibilities

• Pull data, analyze it and interpret the results to guide business decisions and strategy.
• Analyze large datasets and turn them into clear reports and visualizations.
• Track and report key metrics for the organization.
• Work with cross-functional teams to collect and clarify business requirements.
• Build and maintain automated processes for data collection and analysis.
• Spot trends in the data and turn them into actionable insights.
• Support decisions by running detailed analysis and presenting the findings.

Requirements

• Bring a strong analytical mindset and very close attention to detail.
• Be proficient with several data analysis tools.
• Have experience with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), Tableau, SQL and Python.
• Be pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.

Conditions

Location: Santa Clara, CA.

This is a full-time internship for students, with no travel and no relocation support.

Salary depends on location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills and experience, and takes into account pay equity with current team members.

The posted salary range for sales roles is the target total cash range, meaning base salary plus target bonus at 100% goal achievement.

The role is a business intelligence data analyst position within Applied Global Services. You need strong communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to work both independently and with others, and comfort in a quick-moving environment.
