Strategic Marketing Manager

The equipment it builds and services is central to AI progress and to bringing next-generation chips to market.

This is a senior individual contributor role that sets the framework for strategic decisions by assessing industry and market trends.

You will combine a solid grasp of both technical and commercial conditions with semiconductor knowledge to spot technology inflections and opportunities, then recommend a direction for the business.

Responsibilities

• Track market analytics and compile metrics and reporting on strategic operations in the global services business.
• Run market intelligence studies on semiconductor landscapes, customer profiles and competitor performance, pulling out trends and outliers as actionable insights, including customer demand modeling and forecasting.
• Work with engineering, finance, business development, operations and sales to gather analysis and support the development of service products.
• Refine the methods for market segmentation and analytics that drive business growth.
• Brief executives on a regular basis and build executive-ready narratives and data-backed recommendations for the business operating rhythm.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in engineering, physics, materials science, computer science, or business or marketing, plus 8 years of semiconductor industry experience.
• A solid background in business or marketing analytics, with a record of measurable results.
• Critical thinking and the ability to influence and communicate clearly with cross-functional teams such as sales, finance, marketing, strategy and management.
• Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to tell stories to executives and make data-driven decisions.
• Desired: experience in the semiconductor industry.
• Preferred: a technical background.

Conditions

Base pay range: $133,500.00 to $183,500.00.

Pay depends on location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills and experience, and takes internal equity with current team members into account.

For sales roles, the posted range is the Target Total Cash range, which is base salary plus target bonus at 100% goal achievement.

Location: Santa Clara, CA.
