Description

The company is Fever, a tech platform for culture and live entertainment, used each month by more than 300 million people in over 55 countries.

The platform also gives event creators data and technology to grow their events and reach new audiences.

The company has worked with partners such as Netflix, F.C. Barcelona and Primavera Sound, has produced award-winning experiences, and has several major global investors.

The role sits in the Secret Media Network, a digital media group that publishes recommendations, place guides, things-to-do content and local news across cities such as Valencia, Barcelona, Los Angeles, New York, London, Paris and Madrid.

Responsibilities

  • Based in Madrid, you will write for the French team, producing buzzy, original content about events for French-speaking markets.
  • Write accurate, informative articles quickly for commercial partners and Fever Original events.
  • Create social media posts and video captions, and work with the marketing team to make copy drive sales or awareness, including covering branded events through Instagram stories.
  • Track many tasks across several campaigns at once.
  • Come up with creative campaign ideas and handle final client feedback so everything is polished.
  • You may occasionally help with editorial work, but commercial work always comes first. The role sits within the editorial team, so you need a firm grasp of the Secret Media Network's native storytelling tone.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of relevant editorial experience.
  • Native-level written and spoken French is essential.
  • Some proven digital writing experience, editorial or commercial.
  • Experience in digital marketing or editorial work, from newsrooms to agencies, is highly desirable.
  • A strong instinct for social media and for what makes a story engaging.
  • Stay calm and organised under pressure while juggling many to-dos across projects.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of the industry and how native marketing works.
  • Creative and commercial insight, with strong storytelling skills.
  • A talent for finding strong ways to connect brands with the audience.
  • Fluent English for internal communication is preferred.

Conditions

Hybrid work: you can work from home, with a central office in Madrid.

The video call interview, 60-minute online psychometric test, editing test and conversation with management form the selection process.

The company is committed to equal opportunity and welcomes applications from everyone. Contact the Talent team if you need accommodation during selection.

Benefits

  • Competitive pay package with room to grow.
  • 40% discount on all Fever events and experiences, plus a free Candlelight voucher.
  • Flexible remuneration through Cobee covering meals, transport, training and nursery support, tax-exempt.
  • Payflow, which lets you access part of your salary in advance.
  • Taxdown, which helps you optimise and file your taxes.
  • Private health and dental insurance through Cigna, 100% covered by the company, with family members addable through flexible remuneration.
  • Wellhub membership for gym and wellness, 100% covered by the company up to the Silver plan.
  • English and Spanish language lessons.
  • Free snacks, drinks and fresh fruit at the office.
