Description

The company builds AI hardware and software, from a high performance RISC-V CPU it designed in-house to compilers, platforms, networking and semiconductors. The team is growing and hiring at all levels.

The Data Center Deployment team is hiring a Staff or Senior Staff Technical Program Manager to run complex programs across AI hardware, software, infrastructure and data center operations, working hands-on with the technical details.

Candidates are assessed for the right level during interviews, and the offer will match that level, which may differ from the level in this posting.

You will learn how the company deploys, debugs and operates complex AI hardware and software across large data center environments, and how the layers of those systems interact over their lifecycle.

You will learn how to use telemetry, observability and automation, along with AI-enabled tooling, to improve reliability, deployment speed, resource use and operational decisions, and how to help shape the tooling and processes used to scale deployment and SRE work.

Responsibilities

  • Lead complex programs spanning AI hardware, software, infrastructure and data center operations.
  • Work with engineering and operations teams to map system-level dependencies.
  • Troubleshoot deployment and operational issues.
  • Improve the reliability and scalability of the infrastructure.
  • Use operational data, debugging, scripting and automation to streamline workflows, surface risks and support data-driven decisions across teams.

Requirements

  • A hands-on program leader with direct experience in data center infrastructure, systems deployment, SRE or infrastructure operations.
  • A systems thinker who investigates technical issues, leads detailed debugging and triage, and understands dependencies across hardware, firmware, networking, operating systems and software.
  • A data-driven problem solver who uses telemetry, monitoring, observability, metrics and dashboards to find issues, assess impact and guide decisions.
  • A builder who has personally written scripts, workflows or automations that cut manual work, raise operational efficiency and improve visibility.
  • An AI-forward partner who uses AI tools to speed up analysis, automation and program execution, and who explains technical risks and tradeoffs clearly.
  • A bachelor's degree or higher in computer engineering, electrical engineering, computer science or a related technical field, plus 5+ years leading complex technical programs, infrastructure initiatives or data-driven engineering operations.
  • Direct experience with data center infrastructure or systems operations, including deployment, hardware and software dependencies, capacity or resource allocation, reliability and operational limits at scale.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills, including detailed debugging, incident triage and root cause analysis across interconnected hardware, firmware, networking, operating systems and software.
  • Hands-on work with observability and operational tools such as telemetry, monitoring, logs, metrics, dashboards and data pipelines, used to investigate issues and track system health, performance and reliability.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain automation, scripts or workflows in Python, SQL, APIs, shell scripting or similar tools, plus regular use of AI-assisted tools to improve workflows, automate repetitive tasks, analyze data and solve technical problems, and to turn findings into clear plans and stakeholder reports.
