Description

The company is a global designer, manufacturer and seller of officially licensed sports merchandise, including apparel, jerseys, headwear and collectibles. It runs a vertically integrated platform with more than 900 e-commerce sites and omnichannel reach across digital, in-venue and retail, serving fans in over 180 countries.

The team is building an AI platform that helps internal teams build, deploy and scale AI-powered agents and tools. This Staff Product Manager, AI Platform Adoption & Growth owns adoption and growth of that platform, finds where teams get stuck, removes friction from onboarding to production, and turns repeated customer needs into platform improvements.

You will work with business and technology teams, other AI platform PMs and engineering leaders so that customer demand and adoption data shape the roadmap. The role uses data, automation and AI-driven insights, and is measured by business and fan impact.

Responsibilities

  • Build alignment across product, engineering, business and senior leadership on what is needed to speed up AI platform adoption, without relying on formal authority.
  • Work with the global AI platform PM team, including peers focused on agentic solutions and the core control plane, and with engineering leaders, so adoption data and customer demand guide priorities.
  • Send validated opportunities to the right PM and engineering owners so that delivery never rests on one person.
  • Learn how internal customers work, where they struggle, and why they adopt, struggle with or leave the platform.
  • Own and keep improving the customer journey from first contact through onboarding, first value, production deployment and ongoing use.
  • Work with business and technology teams to define problems, desired outcomes and likely value where AI can improve products, processes or customer experiences.
  • Help teams show and explain the value they get from the platform.
  • Quickly test promising AI ideas with lightweight prototypes, experiments and proofs of concept.
  • Decide whether an idea fits existing platform capabilities, needs a new one, or is better served by a business-specific solution.
  • Spot recurring needs that reusable platform capabilities could address across several teams.
  • Assess emerging AI technologies and patterns for real potential at the company.
  • Own the adoption strategy and define metrics for adoption, activation, time-to-value, sustained usage and business impact.
  • Find and remove barriers across onboarding, platform capabilities, documentation, tooling and operating processes.
  • Build repeatable programs that help more teams adopt and scale their use of the platform.
  • Own the operating rhythm and story with senior leadership, reporting progress, barriers, new opportunities and where more investment is needed.
  • Apply AI and technology to improve efficiency, quality and outcomes.
  • Use data and digital tools to guide decisions and improve performance.
  • Stay curious and adaptable when adopting new technologies and ways of working.
  • Help build a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Significant product management experience, including a record of owning ambiguous, high-impact problems and getting results through influence rather than authority.
  • A proven record of growing adoption of a platform, product, tool or capability across a complex organization.
  • Strong skill at customer discovery, and at linking customer problems, product decisions, adoption and measurable business outcomes.
  • Working knowledge of modern AI and LLM application patterns, including agent architectures, tool calling, MCP-style protocols and platform trade-offs, enough to work credibly with engineers.
  • Excellent communication, able to make complex topics clear to engineers, product teams, business leaders and senior executives.
  • Sound product judgment and first-principles thinking, able to cut through ambiguity, challenge assumptions and make considered trade-offs.
  • Optional: experience building or growing internal developer platforms, infrastructure or enterprise technology products.
  • Optional: experience with agent frameworks, MCP servers or orchestration platforms.
  • Optional: experience in e-commerce, sports or consumer technology.
