Description

The company is a Fortune 10 business that touches nearly every part of healthcare, known for insights, products, and services that make quality care more accessible and affordable.

The company's culture lets people grow, make an impact, and bring new ideas to the table.

This role manages eCommerce Core Ordering digital products, with a focus on regulatory and compliance needs and the Accounts Payable functionality. You will work with engineering, design, and business teams to turn product vision into technical requirements, and help shape strategy and the roadmap by spotting customer needs, business opportunities, and technical factors in your area.

You will also help find and drive new, innovative products. The work calls for deep technical skill, strong analysis, and influence over cross-functional teams without direct authority. You will manage the roadmap, write epics and user stories, interpret market and user research, and track product performance with data.

Responsibilities

  • Own a digital product from definition and planning through release and retirement.
  • Take ownership of specific features or components within that product.
  • Turn business needs into detailed technical requirements and specifications.
  • Set backlog priorities with engineering and design.
  • Lead technical initiatives in your area from idea and requirements through prototype, validation, pilot, and wide rollout.
  • Keep delivery on track with agile practice, sprint goals, and release dates, spotting and reducing risks early.
  • Run a product, platform, or key product area from discovery through build, launch, adoption, and ongoing improvement.
  • Work with engineering to check feasibility, scalability, and fit with architecture standards.
  • Weigh performance, technical debt, security risk, and delivery speed against each other.
  • Join sprint planning, standups, and retrospectives to help work land on time.
  • Understand APIs, data models, and integrations well enough to guide development.
  • Work with engineering and testing teams to design and run A/B tests that validate feature improvements.
  • Build trusted relationships with engineering, design, business units, customer success, and executives to agree on goals and priorities.
  • Gather feedback from customer success, sales, and support, and use it to test technical solutions.
  • Feed ongoing customer and user feedback into priorities for existing features and new products, and support discovery and usability testing.
  • Monitor performance with real-time analytics, find problems, and propose fixes.
  • Show measurable gains in reliability, scalability, and performance through uptime, latency, error rates, and throughput.
  • Drive changes that raise user satisfaction, engagement, and retention, measured by NPS, CSAT, adoption, and usage.
  • Deliver features on time and in scope with little rework or debt, tracked through velocity, cycle time, and release cadence.
  • Write and maintain technical specs, release notes, and user guides.
  • Share progress, risks, and dependencies with cross-functional teams.
  • Build and share roadmaps, decision logs, and the technical reasoning behind them.
  • Record key decisions, architecture trade-offs, and lessons learned to support handover and onboarding.

Requirements

  • A degree or equivalent experience, typically with 7+ years of relevant experience.
  • 7+ years in roles with steadily growing technical product responsibility. Fewer years may be accepted with a relevant Master's or Doctorate.
  • 7+ years of proven experience influencing highly matrixed teams.
  • A solid grasp of the technical product lifecycle, agile methods, and digital transformation.
  • Preferred: hands-on experience in health care or another regulated environment is a plus.
  • Preferred: 7+ years of experience building business cases.
  • Preferred: certifications such as Certified Product Manager (CPM) or Scrum Master, SAFe, or similar are optional but advantageous.
  • Preferred: the ability to work with engineering, architecture, and data teams to assess trade-offs, shape solution design, and confirm strategy feasibility.
  • Preferred: a basic understanding of modern digital architectures, APIs, cloud platforms, data ecosystems, and software development practices.

Conditions

Hybrid role: on-site at the Las Colinas office at least two days a week, with the remaining days remote. Specific office days may be set based on team needs and business priorities.
