This Sr. Staff Engineer role is hybrid in Mohali, reporting to the Director, Software Development Engineering in Engineering. It sits between software design and test engineering, building wide-reaching tools and frameworks that check product quality automatically at scale.

Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of system integration testing and quality results for key platform areas such as UI, APIs, services, and data workflows.
• Create test plans that can be automated and provide strong coverage of functional, regression, and system integration scenarios.
• Build and maintain UI and API automation with current frameworks, aiming for stable, maintainable suites and quick feedback.
• Validate large-scale systems, including REST APIs, backend services, distributed workflows, and microservices.

• You have hands-on experience with UI automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright for end-to-end validation.
• You have deep experience testing distributed systems, microservices, and scalable cloud-native multi-tenant architectures on AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• You have a solid grasp of CI/CD integration, Linux troubleshooting, and containerized environments such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• You have technical knowledge of L2/L3 networking, including routing protocols, VPN, IPSec, and WAN architecture.
• Preferred: you have proven experience designing scalable test frameworks that cover architecture, patterns, reporting, stability, and parallel execution.
• Preferred: you are proficient with Git, TestRail for test management, and Jira for issue tracking.
• Preferred: you have hands-on experience prompting AI agents and using them for productivity, test design, and automation support.

Conditions

The role is hybrid, based in Mohali, India, and reports to the Director, Software Development Engineering.
