Sr Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and build software components that can scale, are simple to maintain and reuse, and perform well and stay dependable.
• Work with product managers to turn requirements into sound architecture, taking features from design through to delivery.
• Build user interfaces that are easy to use and can be extended, using current UI frameworks and allowing for customer-specific needs.
• Help design and build new products and features, and improve what existing products can do.
• Add automated testing to development workflows so quality stays consistent with each release.
• Take part in design and code reviews, checking for good performance, maintainability, and testability.
• Create complete test plans that cover functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
• Share engineering and quality practices with the team to support learning and improvement.
• Encourage careful craftsmanship, knowledge sharing, and thoughtful quality habits across the team.

Requirements

• You have used critical thinking to bring AI into work processes, decisions, or problem solving. This can include AI-powered tools, workflow automation, reviewing AI-generated insights, or assessing how AI could affect your function or industry.
• You have 6+ years of software engineering experience and a record of shipping high-quality products.
• You are proficient in Python, Java, or a similar object-oriented language.
• You have experience with modern front-end frameworks such as Angular, React, or Vue.
• You have a strong grasp of data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design, design patterns, and performance tuning.
• You are familiar with automated testing frameworks such as JUnit, Selenium, or TestNG, and with adding tests to CI/CD pipelines.
• You understand software quality principles, including reliability, observability, and readiness for production.
• You can troubleshoot complex systems and improve performance across the whole stack.
• You have worked with AI-powered tools or workflows, including checking datasets, model predictions, and consistency of inference.
• You are comfortable with development tools such as IDEs, debuggers, profilers, source control, and Unix-based systems.

• For roles in this location, base pay is $143,200 - $243,400, plus equity where applicable, variable or incentive pay, and benefits. Sales roles generally have an On Target Earnings incentive structure. Base pay shown is a guideline, and total compensation depends on qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location. Pay is set by the geographic location of the role and may change based on work location.
