Description

The Data & Legal Solutions team is a central program operations group that works as a trusted partner on strategic programs across ad sales, distribution, marketing, research, technology, legal, and HR. The team turns data into insight and structure for a varied portfolio, helping the business decide well in a complex, multi-platform, fragmented media market, with a focus on legal, privacy, compliance, and data-driven solutions.

This senior role leads the privacy product portfolio from end to end, owning strategy, roadmap, and delivery across privacy capabilities and platforms. You will turn changing privacy laws and internal standards into scalable product features and operating processes for every business unit. The role calls for a product leader with deep privacy and regulatory product experience, including GDPR and CPRA/CCPA, who can work at enterprise scale with many stakeholders and hit committed dates through disciplined execution and solid technical understanding.

The company is one of the world's leading media and entertainment businesses. It makes film, television, and streaming content, runs theme park destinations, sells consumer products, and owns major entertainment and news brands. It is a subsidiary of Comcast Corporation.

Responsibilities

  • Own the strategy, roadmap, and delivery of the company's privacy products.
  • Convert privacy regulations and internal standards into product capabilities and operating frameworks that work across all business units.

Requirements

  • Have 8+ years of product management experience, mostly on data privacy, trust, or compliance products.
  • Have shipped and scaled privacy products such as Consumer Rights Management (DSAR), Consent Management, and Preference Management.
  • Have delivered end-to-end privacy solutions that meet privacy policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Know global privacy laws well, including GDPR, CPRA/CCPA, and other applicable data protection laws.
  • Have hands-on experience integrating SaaS platforms through APIs, SFTP, and other data exchange methods.
  • Can set a long-term product vision, turn it into an executable roadmap, and deliver against committed plans.
  • Have led cross-functional teams, including engineering, legal, security, data, and operations, through complex multi-stakeholder work.
  • Communicate clearly and manage stakeholders well, influencing everyone up to executive leadership.
  • Have thorough knowledge of the product development lifecycle, including technical design, data architecture, and analytics.
  • Have worked in a large, complex organization on enterprise-scale products and platforms.
  • Take a practical, solution-oriented approach with a firm focus on execution and continuous improvement.
  • Hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Product Management, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Have 3+ years in a role that demands strong technical, quantitative, and analytical skills.
  • Have worked in a privacy-focused, compliance-driven, or regulated product environment.
  • Can turn business and legal requirements into clear technical specifications.
  • Can juggle competing priorities, resolve conflicts, and build consensus across teams without direct authority.
  • Own problems end to end: break them down, weigh scenarios, and deliver strong results under pressure.
  • Have worked in Agile product development teams.
  • Can support time-sensitive initiatives, including occasional work outside normal business hours.
  • Preferred: Hold privacy certifications such as CIPM, CIPP/E, CIPP/US, or an equivalent.
  • Preferred: Have worked in media, entertainment, or digital content.
  • Preferred: Have experience with both vendor-managed and internally built privacy solutions, including third-party partnerships.
  • Preferred: Have managed distributed teams and external vendors.
  • Preferred: Are strongly organized, able to track dependencies, risks, and delivery milestones.
  • Preferred: Know Jira or similar tools for roadmap planning, backlog management, and delivery tracking.
  • Preferred: Are highly collaborative and adaptable, comfortable in a fast-paced and changing regulatory environment.
  • Preferred: Show alignment with the company's values of Integrity, Ownership, Creativity, Teamwork, and Pioneering Spirit.
