Description

The company is a next-generation global media and entertainment business with three segments: Studios, Direct-to-Consumer, and TV Media.

This senior role sits in the integration team within the Enterprise Technology Group, which supports and extends the Informatica Power Center and IICS integration suite.

You will work with peers, outside partners and vendors, and business users to pin down requirements and turn them into technical solutions, working independently in a fast-changing setting to meet department and company goals.

Responsibilities

  • Take on the more complex assignments, projects and tasks, and handle them with advanced skill across everything the role requires.
  • Mentor teammates.
  • Run proofs of concept on new connectors and work closely with the network team.
  • Review objects that other developers on the team have built, as needed.
  • Work with business and QA teams through requirements, QAST and SIT phases of deployment.
  • Identify functional gaps in existing applications, propose business process improvements, and fix bugs and issues that get reported.
  • Coordinate work across lines of business and teams.
  • Turn high-level system requirements into technical data and integration requirements.
  • Build custom APIs that handle bulk volumes and pagination.
  • Design, build and roll out integration solutions on Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services.
  • Set up data mappings, transformations and workflows that keep data consistent and accurate.
  • Build and maintain APIs and connectors to link data sources and applications.
  • Create data flow diagrams and process models.
  • Unit test and debug applications to protect the quality of delivered requirements and overall system health.
  • Write standards and processes that support integration projects and initiatives.
  • Research integration products and services and recommend which to use.
  • Monitor integration processes and fix performance or data quality problems before they spread.
  • Maintain and support integration solutions over time.
  • Apply regular updates and upgrades so integrations stay current.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or a similar major.
  • 5+ years of developer experience with Informatica IICS for application and data integration.
  • Experience with PowerCenter and IICS, plus a full working knowledge of the SDLC.
  • Experience developing APIs, including best practices, testing methods and deployment strategies.
  • Strong working knowledge of SOA, ETL, ERP and XML.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or Google Cloud.
  • Understanding of Python, AWS Redshift, Snowflake and relational databases.
  • Knowledge of UNIX shell scripting, with the ability to write and debug shell scripts.
  • Experience integrating ERP, SaaS and PaaS platforms such as SAP, Salesforce and Workday, and data warehouses such as Teradata, Snowflake and RedShift.
  • Strong communication and analytical skills.
  • Preferred qualification: Informatica certification in Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services.
  • Preferred qualification: Experience with other integration tools and middleware.
  • Preferred qualification: Knowledge of data governance and data quality best practices.
