Description

The company is a local media advertising technology firm whose independent, customizable platform helps local media businesses grow, extend sales teams into streaming, and connect local advertisers with their communities.

The platform lets advertisers reach local audiences at national scale, with premium supply partnerships and tools for planning, targeting and measuring full-funnel campaign results.

The platform runs campaigns for more than 30,000 small and medium businesses each day.

You will act as a strategic adviser to senior leadership, helping set product priorities using your knowledge of the market, customers, competitors and the changing adtech ecosystem.

You will build and lead the product marketing function, setting up the frameworks and operating rhythms a growing product line needs, so the commercial teams can clearly explain the value of the technology.

  • Build messaging frameworks that stay consistent across sales materials, launches, customer communications, campaigns and executive presentations.
  • Make sure narratives are technically accurate, commercially persuasive and suited to each audience, including brands, agencies, broadcasters, publishers and internal teams.
  • Own the end-to-end go-to-market strategy for new products, features, integrations and major platform upgrades.
  • Decide target audiences, use cases, competitive differentiation, launch approach, enablement needs, adoption goals and success metrics.
  • Lead cross-functional launch planning with Product, Engineering, Sales, Client Success, Marketing and Revenue Operations.
  • Set launch readiness standards so teams can position, sell, support and measure new capabilities.
  • Review launch and adoption results and use them to improve messaging, enablement and future plans.
  • Build a deep understanding of the adtech landscape, including programmatic buying, demand-side platforms, data and identity, measurement, supply paths, optimization and emerging technologies.
  • Lead ongoing market, customer and competitor research to spot trends, whitespace opportunities and risks.
  • Produce competitive intelligence, battlecards, market assessments and executive-level recommendations.
  • Run voice of customer work and feed those insights into product planning and prioritization.
  • Work with customer-facing teams to surface recurring needs, objections, adoption barriers and differentiation opportunities.
  • Develop the narratives, tools and training Sales and Client Success need to explain the value of the platform.
  • Create enablement materials such as pitch decks, solution briefs, product demos, technical overviews, competitive guides, case studies and objection-handling resources.
  • Lead product and solution training for commercial teams and keep it current as the platform changes.
  • Work with Sales leadership on strategic deals, executive presentations, RFPs and complex customer conversations.
  • Measure program effectiveness through adoption, pipeline influence, win rates, sales readiness, product usage and customer feedback.
