Sr Advisory Solution Consultant ( Armis / Veza )

Description

The company sells a cyber security platform and this role supports customers in the Iberia region.

Solution Consultants are central to each customer engagement, showing the platform's value through console demos, proof-of-value deployments and focused training.

Responsibilities

• Work with prospects to show the platform in action, both virtually and in person.
• Set up proof-of-value installations for prospects.
• Run technical training sessions based on what the proof-of-value turns up.
• Support marketing work, conferences and speaking engagements.
• Explain prospect needs clearly, both in writing and out loud.
• Own significant individual work while helping teammates succeed as part of the team.
• Analyse problems across the sales cycle, from pre-sale through customer support and troubleshooting, and build new use cases for internal and external audiences.
• Write documentation for prospects.
• Travel up to 40% of the time on average, which varies by region.

Requirements

• At least 5 years in technical roles such as SE, Pre-Sales Engineer or Solutions Architect, ideally at a cyber security vendor.
• At least 5 years in customer-facing or customer support roles.
• A solid grasp of networking concepts and technologies.
• A proven record of owning complex initiatives and delivering results.
• Experience closing complex cyber security SaaS deals with enterprise customers and supporting Sales AEs and RSMs.
• Knowledge of at least one of: IoT, OT or IoMT; wireless technologies such as WLCs, Meraki or Aruba; Linux operating systems; virtualised environments; networking; utility scripting, with Python preferred.
• A BS in computer science, MIS or equivalent experience.
