  • Write custom tools, scripts and integrations in Python.
  • Connect the company's infrastructure and software with other enterprise systems through APIs and automation workflows to meet customer needs.
  • Deploy, run and troubleshoot Kubernetes clusters and containerized workloads.

  • Advise customers as a technical expert in engagements, workshops, solution reviews and architecture discussions.
  • Collect customer requirements and turn business needs into technical solutions.
  • Give technical presentations, demos and hands-on workshops to customers and partners.
  • Provide advanced technical support during deployment, integration and post-production.
  • Investigate complex customer issues and drive root-cause analysis to a fix.
  • Work with sales, pre-sales, product teams and customer stakeholders so that solutions are adopted and customers are satisfied.
  • Write deployment guides, best practices, architecture documents and technical reports.
  • Document solution designs, test results and operating procedures.
  • Add to knowledge bases and mentor colleagues on new technologies and solution architectures.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, information systems or an equivalent field.
  • Typically 6-10 years of experience.
  • Hands-on experience with Python-based automation and scripting.
  • Hands-on experience building and integrating RESTful APIs and web services.
  • Experience building scalable, maintainable automation with Python and REST APIs.
  • Hands-on experience deploying and configuring Kubernetes clusters.
  • Strong understanding of container orchestration and workload management.

  • Preferred: experience with HPE Compute, Storage, Networking and GreenLake solutions, or equivalent infrastructure platforms.
  • Preferred: understanding of infrastructure automation, provisioning and lifecycle management.
  • Preferred: experience with virtualization and container platforms, including SUSE Rancher/RKE2 and Red Hat OpenShift.
  • Preferred: exposure to Cloud Management Platforms (CMP) and cloud infrastructure management solutions.
