Solutions Architect GRC-12 Month Fixed Term Contract

Description

The role is a solutions architect post focused on governance, risk and compliance (GRC), based in EMEA and working directly with customers and partners to design and deliver platform solutions. You act as a consultative advisor who enters complex client environments and brings clarity and structure.

You will lead contracted GRC engagements covering internal audit, enterprise risk management, controls management and compliance reporting. The GRC solution is moving to its next generation, and you will use AI-driven capabilities and Model Context Protocols (MCPs) to handle routine technical work, leaving more time for advisory work, client engagement and solution health.

Responsibilities

• Own direct delivery of GRC engagements for customers and partners across EMEA, keeping projects moving from scoping through to the intended outcomes.
• Run detailed discovery sessions to learn how the business works, then design sound GRC solutions on the company platform on your own, without day-to-day supervision.
• Build AI-driven workflows and MCPs into daily work to automate routine tasks, free time for strategic advice, and help clients adopt modern AI tools.
• Work directly with delivery partners, giving architectural guidance and quality reviews to keep solutions up to standard, while partners keep ownership of their core work.
• Work across Customer Success, Sales and Product to confirm project scope and challenge weak design choices from partners or customers when needed to protect solution health.
• Share your GRC domain knowledge with the wider team by helping with onboarding, internal training and enablement.

Requirements

• At least 3 years in a SaaS service delivery role, professional services, internal audit, risk and controls, or a closely related platform delivery field.
• Prior experience in GRC, internal audit, enterprise risk management or compliance.
• Strong soft skills: confident consulting, active listening, structured problem solving and clear communication with business stakeholders.
• Able to manage your own time across several client engagements while staying within the agreed contract scopes.
• Interest in modern SaaS technology and AI. Familiarity with AI-assisted workflows, data concepts (SQL, JSON, REST APIs) or Model Context Protocols (MCPs) is a plus.
• Self-motivated, with a drive to shape business processes and help customers modernise their reporting environment.
• Skilled at building long-term, customer-first relationships.
• Able to travel up to 10% of the time for customer meetings and internal events.
• Reliable internet access for remote work at any time, when not working from a the company office.

Conditions

This is a 12-month fixed-term contract.

The role is remote from EMEA, with occasional travel of up to 10% for customer meetings and internal events.
