The hard problem has moved from writing code to securing it. AI agents produce code faster than teams can review it, over 65% of the lines they generate are insecure, and vulnerabilities pile up 16x faster than they get fixed, with attackers exploiting new ones within hours.

Underneath is a patented code context graph covering code, open source, containers and infrastructure. Responsibilities

• Teach application security and software supply chain security to developers in a way that makes the subject engaging and easy to grasp.
• Become the team's deepest expert on the supply chain security product suite and represent it to others.
• Build demos and presentations shaped around each customer's specific needs and challenges.
• Work with engineering and product teams to design solutions for real customer problems, feeding what you learn in the field back into product development.
• Guide customers through onboarding so they adopt the platform smoothly and reach their security and development goals.

Requirements

• Experience in pre-sales or a similar technical, customer-facing role, including technical deep dives, product demonstrations and leading evaluations.
• Solid grasp of modern development: backend or full-stack work, CI/CD pipelines, Git workflows and DevOps tooling, and how modern applications are built and deployed.
• Familiarity with application security, software supply chain security and/or identity and access management, and why developer workflows and cloud-native environments need protection.
• Working knowledge of the developer, DevOps, application security and open-source ecosystems, with enough programming skill to meet developers where they are.
• Experience engaging technical customers at an enterprise level, explaining complex solutions and working through a sales cycle.
• Curiosity about new technologies and how things work underneath.
• A collaborative approach that values diversity and inclusion in every interaction.
• A bias for action: solving customer problems directly and asking for help when needed.

Conditions

For candidates who receive an offer, the compensation range is expected to be $190,000 - $250,000.
