Description

The company is hiring a Solution Architect for Fleet Performance and Knowledge Management (f/m) in its Digital Customer Services department in Toulouse, France.

You will sit in a 12-person team and play a central role in the case management portfolio (NCM) and the fleet issue resolution process.

The team is building a next-generation platform that combines AI (NLP and LLMs), graph databases and vector databases for advanced similarity search. Open-Host Service (OHS) and Published Language (PL) patterns protect core systems, keep costs under control and support scaling.

The company is rethinking its customer services information systems and wants to avoid architectures shaped only by short-term business demands and piling-up technical debt. The target is scalable, configurable, market-standard architectures built on Domain-Driven Design (DDD), with AI integrations that serve airline customers for the next decade.

Toulouse is the global capital of aeronautics and Europe's capital for space research. It is in southwest France, has an international airport, lies between the Mediterranean and the Atlantic, and is close to the Pyrenees for outdoor activities.

Responsibilities

  • Work with transversal and product architects, project managers and business analysts.
  • Own the technical infrastructure of the product and set the technical rules for the team.
  • Write architecture dossiers that turn business needs into functional deliverables.
  • Launch proofs of concept to test new AI, NLP and LLM technologies before they go into production.
  • Lead technical design that combines SaaS, COTS integrations and custom cloud applications.
  • Enforce standards that keep the architecture scalable and secure, in line with API, event-driven and enterprise architecture guidelines.
  • Take part in every stage of the application lifecycle: research, design, development, testing and support.

Requirements

  • At least 8 years of professional experience, with a clear record in defining digital architecture.
  • Experience with SAP, Skywise, Kubernetes (an opportunity) and AWS (current core). GCP and Scaleway are upcoming platforms.
  • Working knowledge of Domain-Driven Design, event-driven architecture, REST APIs, A2A, MCP and streaming with Kafka.
  • Familiarity with LLMs, NLP, graph databases and vector databases.
  • Ability to talk about APIs with developers and about business value and ROI with stakeholders.
  • Advanced French and negotiation-level English.
  • Knowledge of airline customer activities such as MROs and lessors is a big plus.

Conditions

Permanent contract in Toulouse, France, at grade G13 (Classe G13, France) and professional experience level.

The company supports flexible working arrangements wherever possible.

The company is committed to equal opportunities and welcomes applicants regardless of background, age, gender, disability, sexual orientation or religion.

The company will never ask for money during recruitment; report any such request.

Anyone who is not a 100% match can still apply, as the company offers tailored development support.

This role requires awareness of compliance risks and acting with integrity.

Benefits

  • Attractive salary, success-based agreements, profit sharing, an employee savings plan with company contribution and a voluntary employee share purchase plan.
  • Extra days off for special occasions, holiday transfer option, and a staff council offering social, cultural and sports activities.
  • Complementary health cover for disability, invalidity and death. Depending on the site: health centre, concierge services, gym and a carpooling app.
  • Access to more than 10,000 e-learning courses, certifications, an expert career path, accelerated development programmes, and national and international mobility.
