Description

The role sits in the ETE engineering operations group, inside the DDMS Squad, based in Marignane, France.

You act as a bridge between business teams and the DDMS development teams, helping drive business change.

The work involves building and rolling out the end-to-end PLM digital landscape, working across countries with information management and digital transformation office colleagues.

The Marignane site, the 3rd largest industrial site in France, is being reshaped into a modern, inclusive and greener place to work, close to Marseille and Aix-en-Provence.

The role is an engineering digital coach position for a new 3DEXP solution.

Responsibilities

  • Write and update user guides and English training modules, and prepare training datasets.
  • Train end users and key users on new DDMS engineering tools and processes.
  • Draft documentation for end-to-end integrated tests and coach key users during test runs, gathering validation or improvement feedback.
  • Test the deployed solution during rollout to check that it meets engineering business needs.
  • Handle common Level 1 questions and qualify incidents, and pass Level 2 issues to support or development teams.
  • Help define and build an AI assistant for end users, and report continuous improvement needs to the project team.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of experience in aeronautical or industrial engineering or design, including proven work as a trainer, coach or key user on a PLM or digital transformation project.
  • Working knowledge of engineering processes for structural, mechanical or electrical systems design.
  • Hands-on experience with PLM and the 3DExperience environment, including Catia, VPM, Core Eng and 3DJump.
  • Fluent spoken and written French and English, both essential.
  • Strong teaching skills, communication, rigor, an analytical mind and easy interpersonal manner.
  • Negotiation-level English, French and/or German is a plus (optional, not required).

Conditions

Permanent contract, classified Classe F11, at the professional experience level.

Job family: sourcing, buying and ordering.

Positions require a security clearance, and you will receive a questionnaire to complete.

Hiring steps: an HR interview, followed by a technical interview with the future manager.

You are expected to be aware of compliance risks and to act with integrity.

Flexible working arrangements are encouraged wherever possible.

Applications are welcome regardless of background, age, gender, disability, sexual orientation or religious belief.

The company never asks candidates for payment during recruitment.

Benefits

  • Pay package covering salary, bonuses, profit-sharing, participation and a preferred share ownership plan, linked to individual and collective performance.
  • Professional development through training, mentoring and international mobility.
  • Health coverage and retirement benefits.
  • Parental support and flexibility to support work-life balance.
  • Works council (CSE) perks: company restaurant, children's leisure centre, associations and sports complex, and travel allowances.
  • Company shuttles, or reimbursement of the annual transport pass.
