Solution Architect, Master Data

Responsibilities

• Set the architecture direction for master data management and master data governance across material, vendor and customer data.
• Create scalable designs that combine SAP S/4HANA, SAP MDG, SAP BTP, AI-enabled tools and cloud services.
• Turn business objectives and process needs into conceptual, logical and solution architecture designs.
• Build business cases, decision papers and architecture recommendations using clear analysis and problem solving.
• Lead large transformation efforts by lining up architecture, governance, process design and delivery.
• Work with business, product, engineering and external partners to set standards, integration patterns and reusable assets.
• Put data governance in place, covering metadata, lineage, quality controls and secure access that meets enterprise and compliance rules.
• Assess technologies, run proofs of concept and recommend options that weigh business value, scalability, cost and risk.

Requirements

• At least 4 years in data architecture, solution architecture, data engineering, enterprise applications or closely related work.
• Hands-on work with master data processes and tools.
• Experience designing solution architecture for enterprise platforms and their integrations.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA plus at least one of: SAP MDG, material master data, vendor master data, customer master data or SAP BTP.
• Strong analytical skills, with experience building or supporting business cases, architecture choices or transformation recommendations.
• Experience leading, or contributing substantially to, large transformation programmes.
• A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in computer science, information systems, engineering, data science or a related field.
• Preferred: consulting experience in business process transformation, enterprise strategy or operating model design.
• Preferred: experience in regulated settings with strict security, compliance and governance expectations.
• Preferred: knowledge of cloud-native and hybrid data platforms, integration patterns and architecture standards.
• Preferred: experience with AI, cloud platform services, data modelling and enterprise data quality practices.
• Preferred: ability to produce architecture roadmaps, diagrams, standards and executive-ready decision materials.
• Preferred: strong cross-functional communication, influence and stakeholder management skills.

Conditions

Pay is a base range of €56,600 to €94,400, set by performance, experience and skills, equity, periodic market reviews and location, and kept within applicable regulations.

Annual bonus or long-term incentive opportunities may also be offered in addition to base pay.
