Description

The company is growing its SDK Verification team and is looking for early-career engineers who want to build depth in verification, automation and networking technology.

You will work next to SDK development and architecture teams, with mentoring from senior engineers, and build knowledge of networking protocols and the company's networking technologies.

The role is based in Austin and requires two days in the office per week.

The company uses AI across its work, including search, building, agents and automation.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain automated tests for SDK interfaces, development tools and software libraries.
  • Help maintain the OS verification infrastructure.
  • Build and improve automation workflows that support fast, reliable SDK releases.
  • Work within the CI/CD pipelines, adding test coverage and improving stability.
  • Work with hardware, firmware, DevOps and software teams to reproduce, isolate and debug issues.
  • Take part in building and code reviews, and over time take ownership of verification areas.

Requirements

  • A B.S. or higher in computer science, software engineering, electrical engineering or a similar field, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 2 years of hands-on experience in software development, automation or verification.
  • Very strong Python skills, with real automation code written and maintained, not only scripts.
  • Solid Linux knowledge, including the command line, debugging and basic system concepts.
  • Familiarity with Git and at least one CI tool such as Jenkins or GitLab CI.
  • Curiosity, strong communication skills, and the ability to work across teams in different countries.
  • Understanding of networking fundamentals (L2 and L3), gained through coursework, personal projects or on-the-job work.
  • Experience with current test and automation frameworks such as pytest or Robot Framework, or in-house equivalents.
  • Exposure to Docker, Gerrit or infrastructure-as-code tools.
  • Experience building reports or dashboards with Grafana or PowerBI.
  • Curiosity about networking and embedded system architecture is important. A record of teaching yourself new technical domains or contributing to open-source projects on GitHub is a strong advantage.

Conditions

Base salary depends on location, experience and the pay of employees in similar roles.

Base salary range is 124,000 USD to 195,500 USD for Level 2, and 152,000 USD to 241,500 USD for Level 3.
