Description

The role is a Member of Technical Staff (MTS) position in Software Engineering that combines software development and quality engineering.

You will build, test and release high-quality applications on the company Platform, owning quality from start to finish within a hybrid Dev + QA model.

You will use Artificial Intelligence, including GenAI and agentic tools, to speed up development and test automation.

The company is leading workforce transformation in the agentic era, with Agentforce as a core product direction.

Responsibilities

• Build applications on the company Platform with a whole-system view.
• Plan, design and implement highly scalable frameworks for web applications on desktop and mobile, working with architects and lead engineers.
• Turn your design into code using object-oriented design patterns.
• Create test suites that follow the test pyramid, aiming for 100% test coverage with efficient, maintainable tools.
• Write unit and functional automated tests in Java and/or Apex.
• Write test plans and test strategy.
• Find, track and manage quality issues through to resolution, and make sure the product meets customer expectations.
• Use AI and GenAI tools, such as code assistants and agentic workflows, to speed up coding, code review, test generation and defect triage.
• Evaluate and adopt AI-based test automation, including self-healing tests and AI-generated test cases, and measure their effect on quality and productivity.
• Contribute to or build AI and agent features on the company Platform, such as Agentforce and prompt-driven workflows, with attention to responsible and secure AI use.
• Promote good SDLC, Agile and software development practices.
• Work with quality engineers, business analysts and product owners to deliver the product.
• Report status and risks clearly to the team and your manager.

Requirements

• Practical experience using AI and GenAI tools, such as code assistants, agentic workflows and AI-driven test automation, in development or testing.
• A related technical degree.
• 3+ years of programming with a Master's degree, or 5+ years without one, in Java, C, C++ or Python.
• 2+ years of development on the Force.com platform.
• 2+ years of web development using server-side technologies, HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented design and design patterns.
• Experience with web services, including SOAP and REST.
• Solid database concepts and data modeling skills.
• Expertise in SOQL or SQL.
• Strong fundamentals and deep knowledge of QE processes.
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt, delivering across several projects with tight deadlines.
• A team player who motivates others, takes accountability and gets results.
• Even better if you have: experience with Sales Cloud and Service Cloud.
• Even better if you have: Force.com platform knowledge, including Apex and Visualforce.
• Even better if you have: a the company Admin and/or Developer certification.
• Even better if you have: familiarity with Agentforce, Einstein or other the company AI capabilities.
• Even better if you have: experience with JUnit, Jenkins, Selenium or similar tools.
• Even better if you have: experience with test-driven development (TDD) and continuous integration (CI).
• Even better if you have: experience with source control management systems.
• Even better if you have: experience with AI-assisted test automation tools, such as self-healing or AI test-generation platforms.
• Even better if you have: JavaScript single-page application development with Lightning Web Components, Angular, React or Vue.
• Even better if you have: Scrum team experience with Agile methods.
• Even better if you have: an understanding of the SaaS model and its concepts.
• Even better if you have: experience owning projects and juggling several tasks in a fast-paced setting.

Conditions

Candidates may apply for a maximum of 3 roles within 12 months, so that effort is not duplicated.

The work follows a hybrid Dev + QA engineering model.
