Software Engineer

Description

The role is a software engineer position at the company, a global technology and professional services firm that serves US government, defense, and intelligence agencies.

You will join an engineering team that builds, maintains, upgrades, and extends software and complete systems using current development tools, libraries, and methods.

The company has about 26,000 staff in more than 50 countries, with work in AI, cloud, cyber, and software development.

Responsibilities

• Build and run CI/CD pipelines.
• Set up staging clusters.
• Deploy software and test it.
• Write infrastructure as code using tools such as Terraform.
• Write Helm charts.
• Move software artifacts between systems.
• Write documentation.
• Watch system health and resource use.

Requirements

• Hands-on work with AWS tools and services, Terraform, EKS, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Git and GitLab, GitLab runners, CI/CD, and Linux.
• 20+ years of related experience.
• A bachelor's degree in system engineering, computer science, information systems, engineering science, engineering management, or a related discipline from an accredited college or university is required; 4 years of additional developer experience can be substituted for it.
• You must currently hold a TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
• You must be able to obtain a TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
• US citizenship is required.

Conditions

Works onsite in Annapolis Junction, Maryland, USA.

Scheduled at 40 hours per week.

No travel required.

Salary is likely to fall between $187,179 and $230,000. This is not a guaranteed figure. It depends on experience, geographic location, and possibly contract requirements, and may fall outside this range.
