Description

The team builds the employee-facing experiences that support people from their first day through major career milestones, using the company platform at scale. Its own employees are the users, so the solutions reach every worker daily.

This is a software engineering role on the applicant tracking side of People Tech, where the work changes how people are hired and how they experience the company.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and upkeep candidate workflows, job posting templates and recruiting pipelines so they fit the business needs.
  • Build and run REST API integrations between Avature and core HR platforms such as the company and Workday.
  • Create dashboards and reports that track recruiting metrics, including time-to-hire, candidate source quality, pipeline velocity and diversity measures.
  • Keep sourcing tools, candidate-facing features and application flows working well so recruiters can move faster.
  • Build middleware and data connectors that keep candidate data, job postings and hiring outcomes in sync across systems.
  • Audit data and support ETL work so records stay accurate and consistent in Avature and downstream systems.
  • Manage job requisitions, approval workflows and recruiter tools inside Avature.
  • Work with Recruiting Operations and DT teams to turn business needs into technical solutions.
  • Diagnose configuration and integration problems and tune system performance.
  • Act as the go-to expert on Avature and help with user onboarding and change management.

Requirements

  • You have at least 3 years of experience administering, configuring or developing an ATS, or equivalent platform experience.
  • You have hands-on experience configuring an applicant tracking system. Avature is preferred, but Workday, Greenhouse or iCIMS experience is acceptable.
  • You understand REST APIs and data integration, and can read API documentation and build point-to-point connectors.
  • You have used SQL or a similar query language for reporting and data extraction.
  • You work comfortably with both low-code tools and scripting or coding for custom solutions.
  • You can turn recruiting workflows into system requirements across both technical and business areas.
  • You communicate clearly, both in writing when documenting technical solutions and when presenting to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Preferred: experience with JSON, JavaScript or other scripting languages.
  • Preferred: background in HR systems, HRIS platforms or recruiting technology.
  • Preferred: exposure to data governance, compliance with GDPR or CCPA, and secure data handling.
  • Preferred: experience with integration platforms or middleware such as MuleSoft, Zapier or custom webhooks.
  • Preferred: familiarity with agile development practices.
  • You are a self-starter who does well with ambiguity and recently implemented systems.
  • You are detail-oriented and keep strong documentation habits.
  • You collaborate well across HR, IT and vendor teams.
  • You are a proactive learner, willing to build your Avature expertise on the job.
  • You care about recruiting workflows and want to improve hiring outcomes.
