Join a systems engineering team building the core C++ software behind GPU virtualization for AI and machine learning workloads. You will help improve GPU utilization and scale a cloud infrastructure platform through low-level systems development and performance work.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain a C++ GPU virtualization library.
Research GPU oversubscription, checkpointing, and high-performance GPU systems.
Support new hardware architectures and understand how changes affect the broader system.
Debug production systems and diagnose performance issues across customer workloads.
Trace performance problems across system layers and deliver optimized code to production.
Requirements
At least 3 years of experience in C++ systems engineering, with deep C++ expertise; Rust experience is also relevant.
Production experience with low-level systems such as operating systems, kernels, memory management, drivers, or networking.
Experience optimizing network interface or C++ performance and tracing issues across the stack.
A record of shipping production software beyond academic research, ideally in an early-stage startup environment.
Strong computer science fundamentals and a degree in computer science or a related field.
Experience with compilers, networking protocols, Kubernetes, infrastructure, distributed systems, storage, or data ingestion is valuable.
Conditions
Base salary: $250,000 to $325,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is available.
