Description

The company builds legal data intelligence technology that helps clients organize data, find the relevant facts, and act on them. Its AI-powered cloud platform, RelativityOne, turns large volumes of complex information into usable insights for litigation, investigations, regulatory inquiries, and data breach responses.

The Unstructured Storage Services team sits within Data Intelligence Foundation and builds the core data capabilities behind RelativityOne. It offers self-serve, reliable unstructured storage to product engineering teams and external customers, so they do not have to rebuild storage, reliability, and operational tooling themselves.

The team designs and runs cloud-native storage on Azure, working closely with product engineering, SRE, operations, and security to improve developer experience, cut operational work, and deliver scalable platform services.

This is a hybrid role.

Responsibilities

  • Build and run backend storage services for RelativityOne in C# and.NET, focusing on reliability, scalability, security, and performance.
  • Implement and improve Azure storage solutions using Blob Storage and Cosmos DB, covering lifecycle policies, multi-tenant isolation, access control, and cost.
  • Design service-to-service communication with gRPC, including Protocol Buffers, contract versioning, streaming, deadlines, retries, and REST APIs.
  • Lead and join technical design reviews, write up architectural decisions, and spread cloud-native storage patterns across teams.
  • Investigate and fix production issues, find reliability and performance risks, and improve operations through instrumentation, automation, and playbooks.
  • Assess technologies and suggest platform improvements that match business goals and the long-term storage roadmap.
  • Work with product engineering, SRE, and security teams to deliver solutions end to end and improve developer experience.
  • Take part in on-call rotations and incident response to keep services healthy and support customers.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of software engineering experience in backend services, distributed systems, or data or platform engineering.
  • Strong C# and.NET (Core) development skills.
  • Hands-on experience building cloud-native storage in Azure, AWS, or GCP. Azure is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of distributed storage basics: partitioning, consistency models, data access patterns, and performance tuning.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions and with deploying production services.
  • Fluent English, with strong written and spoken communication.
  • Experience working in Agile teams using Scrum or Kanban.
  • Preferred: experience with Azure Blob Storage and Cosmos DB.
  • Preferred: experience designing and building gRPC services and distributed service communication.
  • Preferred: experience with multi-tenant platforms, storage lifecycle management, and access control models.
  • Preferred: familiarity with service observability, operational excellence, and incident response.
  • Preferred: experience tuning large-scale storage systems for performance, reliability, and cost.

Conditions

Pay is a competitive base salary plus an annual performance bonus and long-term incentives.

The expected salary range is 160 000 to 240 000 PLN. The final offer depends on experience, skills, qualifications, and internal pay equity. Offers at the top of the range are unlikely, leaving room for future salary growth.

Benefits include DTO, parental leave, and an equity program.

The company is an equal-opportunity employer committed to fair and equitable pay.

  • Competitive salary, DTO, parental leave, and an equity program.
