Description

The Accounting and Valuation Technology (AVT) team runs the systems that deliver accurate T0 and T+1 position, P&L and transaction data from the shadow accounting system to stakeholders in Fund Accounting, Valuation, Operations, Compliance, Risk and Business Analytics.

The team builds reporting and automation for Fund Accounting and Tax, including tools for investor allocations, estimates of portfolio manager performance payouts and withholding tax calculations. It also produces end-of-day valuations for listed and OTC products traded across the firm.

The company is a global multi-manager hedge fund that works with internal and external portfolio manager teams worldwide. It invests across four strategies: Quantitative, Tactical, Fundamental Equity, and Discretionary Macro and Fixed Income, and relies heavily on its own technology, infrastructure and risk analytics.

Software engineers here design, build, deploy and support applications and new platforms, and some lead projects and initiatives. The team works in an Agile framework and covers Level 3 support across time zones.

The company invests in staff through learning programs, teamwork, internal networks and community work.
