Software Engineer Intern - (AI x Greentech) (m/f/d)

Description

The company builds an AI-driven operating system for renewable energy installers, replacing scattered tools such as CRM, design, proposals, project management and invoicing with one integrated platform. More than 3,000 companies in 13 countries already use it.

This internship puts you on real product work that shapes how renewable energy gets installed. The company is an early-stage, venture-backed startup with a fast pace and a team that values ownership and impact.

The role is for a Software Engineer Intern in the AI x Greentech area, open to all genders.

Responsibilities

• Build features that businesses use every day, from start to finish rather than as isolated tickets.
• Write TypeScript across the full stack.
• Develop Node.js backends and manage data in PostgreSQL using Prisma.
• Turn complicated workflows into simple, clear interfaces with React and Tailwind.
• Collaborate directly with product and design, without layers of approval or handoffs.
• Get your code into production within days.
• Optional, if you want more: extend the Rust-based simulation that forecasts how customers' projects will unfold.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled at a university and available full-time for 4 to 6 months.
• Proof of building things through side projects, hackathons, open source, working student roles or earlier internships.
• Enjoy simplifying complex problems and care about user experience as much as clean code.
• Prefer taking ownership to waiting for instructions, and act on problems rather than debate them.
• Experience with TypeScript and React is a plus.

Conditions

Full-time, on-site internship in Augsburg lasting 4 to 6 months.
