Description

The team builds access controls and permission solutions that secure critical HPC system resources with strong security mechanisms.

The role supports compliance with the agency's security policies and industry standards.

This is a regular, full-time role at the company's Annapolis Junction, Maryland location, onsite, with 40 scheduled hours per week and no travel.

Responsibilities

• Implement access controls and permission solutions that protect critical HPC system resources.
• Make sure the work meets the agency's security policies and industry standards.

Requirements

• A Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree.
• 5+ years of related experience.
• Top Secret SCI clearance with a polygraph, and US citizenship required.
• Linux command line and Linux tools experience.
• Scripting in Bash or Python to automate tasks and processes.
• Recent software development experience in Python and in Rust.
• Experience with Ansible for orchestrating deployments.
• Experience building authentication protocols, authorization logic, access control lists and permissions for HPC systems on Linux.
• Basic Linux systems administration, including user and group management.
• Experience with CI/CD principles, methods and tools, including GitLab CI.
• Familiarity with Agile, Scrum or SAFe methodologies.
• Experience with Git source control.
• Desired: experience with containerization technologies such as Docker, Podman or containerd.
• Desired: experience with the Atlassian suite (Jira, Confluence).

Location: Annapolis Junction, MD, USA, onsite.

The likely salary range is $152,150 to $205,850. This is not a guarantee; pay depends on experience, geographic location and possibly contract requirements, and may fall outside this range.
